Regie Hamm (Singer/Songwriter/Author)

He had over 20 number one records on the Christian Music charts and a promising career - until one little girl changed everything. His daughter was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder called Angelman Syndrome, and the demands of her 24-hour care and enormous medical bills almost broke him. At a time of despair, he entered the "American Idol" Song contest and "won" in a myriad of ways. "Time of My Life" spent 16 weeks on the pop charts, making it one of the longest running Billboard chart toppers of all time. Reggie used his notoriety to help found FAST (the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics) and his commitment to help Angelman children and families has become his life's mission.
